It's Time for Powder Puff Football!

On May 8, 2023, Pryor High School will host a Powder Puff football game at Tiger Stadium, with kickoff set for 7:30 PM; gates will open at 6:45. The event will feature the Blue Team, consisting of juniors and seniors, facing off against the White Team, made up of freshmen and sophomores. Adult tickets can be purchased at the gate for $5, and student tickets for $3. Pryor Activity Passes will not be accepted, as this is a fundraiser for the Student Lead Team. All attendees are encouraged to dress in blue and gold to support the players.

Each team is coached by eight players of Pryor's football team, and there are five student-referees. Both teams have spent the past three Sundays practicing to prepare for the upcoming game. During the game, concessions will be on sale and programs containing the rosters of both teams will be available for free. The game will utilize a modified set of flag football rules, designed for more offense and a faster pace of play. 

The Pryor High School Lead Team, which is the organization hosting the event, runs events that benefit students and school culture. All members take a leadership class that teaches them Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective Leaders and they apply those skills learned to the events they host. This fundraiser will help raise money for those events to take place and to provide more opportunities for members to serve their school and community. Some of Lead Team’s events include back to school night, spirit weeks/activities, and district-wide volunteer projects.
