This weekend Pryor High School Sophomore Wrestler, Ashlyn Masters, will be heading to Ohio to wrestle in the Women of Ironman Tournament. This event is by invitation only with wrestlers coming from Utah, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia and many other states. Masters joins Oklahoma wrestlers from Broken Arrow, Bixby, Edmond North and Union at the event.
"This is a great opportunity for me and I'm thankful for the invite to a great tournament," said Masters.
Coming off of a runner-up finish at the state tournament a year ago, Ashlyn is looking to reach the summit this season.
"My goal is to win a state championship and I've been working really hard this season to hopefully get where I want to be at the end of the season," Masters added.
Masters will be wrestling in the 115 weight class. The event is on December 13th and 14th and will be live streamed here.
