On this National Librarian Day, we want to celebrate our amazing team of school librarians who “nurture a culture of learning and curiosity within our school community.” 📚 Pryor librarians “play a vital role in fostering a love for reading and learning among our students. They are not just keepers of books; they are curators of knowledge, guides to information literacy, and champions of intellectual exploration. Every day, they inspire our students to discover new worlds, expand their horizons, and develop critical thinking skills that will serve them throughout their lives.” Dr. Lisa Muller #WeArePryor

Dr. Muller recently attended the Cherokee Nation's Public School Appreciation Day where Pryor Public Schools received a donation of over $207,000 from the proceeds of Cherokee Nation car tag sales. These funds directly benefit our students and are used to support programs across the district. We appreciate our ongoing partnership with the Cherokee Nation and their support of public schools.
