A new Roosevelt trading card is in hot demand this year! “Earning Your Stripes” cards have been added to the mix, recognizing the best in our Tigers as they build character through everyday choices.

Part of Roosevelt Elementary’s trading card program, the award recognizes learners who demonstrate growth in tenacity, integrity, gratitude, empathy, respect, and service. Teachers recommend students for recognition as they put these qualities into practice.

Each honoree receives an “Earning Your Stripes” trading card and a nameplate displayed in the hallway. As students earn additional recognition, stars are added to their nameplates, creating a visible celebration of their continued growth. After all, Tigers have many stripes!

The celebration also extends to Friday assemblies, where honorees are called to the gym floor to be recognized by their Roosevelt family.

Through the program, Roosevelt is helping young learners see that their choices matter.
