What better way to explore potential careers than to see students preparing for them? Pryor Middle School’s eighth-grade Tigers did just that on Monday, September 28, when they took a short bus ride to Northeast Tech’s Pryor Campus.

Students toured the classrooms and labs of the campus’s programs, getting a firsthand look at the spaces, equipment, and hands-on training that help prepare students for future careers. From working on vehicles to developing skills in healthcare, education, and creative fields, our Tigers discovered a variety of possibilities to consider.
Programs offered at the Pryor Campus include:
Automotive Collision Repair Technology
Automotive Service Technology
Cosmetology
Culinary Arts
Diesel & Heavy Equipment Repair
Electrical Technology
Electronic Control Systems
Health Careers
Heavy Equipment Operator
Teacher Prep
Visual Communications
Welding
The tour also helped students look ahead to opportunities available during high school. As sophomores, students can apply for acceptance into Northeast Tech programs.
Seeing familiar faces made the experience even more meaningful. Middle school students had the chance to watch fellow Pryor Tigers from the high school put their skills into practice as they worked toward certifications.
For the Class of 2031, the day offered a glimpse of where their interests could lead—and a chance to learn, explore, and imagine their futures together.
