three principals

Dr. Amber Wilkins, Lincoln Elementary principal, joined Assistant Principals Melinda Thornton and Dr. Morgan Wood in accepting the National Gold Star School Award today at the National Association of Elementary School Principals Conference.

Presented by the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the recognition honors schools that exemplify excellence in building strong learning communities. According to the organization, great schools are made up of much more than what can be seen from the outside. They are places where culture, relationships, and systems come together to create strong learning environments for students and staff.

Lincoln Elementary was recognized as a remarkable Learning Community built on three pillars:

  • An established culture

  • Empowered people

  • Optimal systems

At Lincoln, those pillars come to life through the school’s “Eight Houses, One Family” culture, which focuses on creating a campus where students and adults alike feel a strong sense of belonging, connection, and shared purpose.

This national recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the entire Lincoln Elementary faculty and staff. We are incredibly proud of this team of professional educators and the meaningful learning community they have built for students.

Congratulations, Lincoln Elementary!
