three students running

Jefferson Tigers took off running around the playground on Thursday, May 14, for one of the school’s favorite end-of-the-year traditions: the Jefferson Color Run.

Students arrived dressed in white with one goal in mind—to finish the run covered in as many colors as possible. As they made their way around the track, teachers were ready at color stations to spray bursts of color and add to the fun.

The annual event is all about good old-fashioned fun, giving students and staff a chance to celebrate the end of the school year with laughter, energy, and plenty of color.

BeattieThis year, Jefferson Principal Robert Beattie added a splash of color of his own. Mr. Beattie is now sporting a Pryor Tiger blue mohawk in honor of Jefferson students giving their absolute best during State Testing.

While the Color Run provided plenty of extra mess, Mr. Beattie’s blue hair is not paint. It is the result of a promise kept.

The students’ colors may wash out by bedtime, but Mr. Beattie’s new look is here to stay—at least for now!

Way to go, Jefferson Tigers!
