We are excited to share outstanding news from Jefferson Elementary! Jefferson has been officially recognized as a Leader in Me Lighthouse Academic Honor Roll School, an honor awarded to schools demonstrating exemplary academic growth.
This designation recognizes schools whose academic performance shows significant improvement, as evaluated through state accountability data and analyzed by an independent nonprofit organization. In 2025, Jefferson Elementary achieved a 30 percentile-point increase compared to the previous year, demonstrating exemplary academic growth and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
Jefferson’s achievement is the result of a true team effort. Teachers and staff worked intentionally to strengthen instructional practices and maintain a strong focus on academic growth, while students embraced responsibility for their learning. Just as importantly, this success would not have been possible without the support of Jefferson’s most valued partners—our parents and families. By reinforcing learning at home and partnering closely with educators, families play a vital role in helping students thrive.
