It was a fine fall day for the Pryor Middle School 8th Grade Tigers as they stepped off the buses at the Northeast Tech Pryor Campus to explore the many vocational career opportunities awaiting them in high school and beyond.
During the visit, students toured a variety of hands-on programs, met instructors, and learned how Northeast Tech prepares students for future careers. Instructors emphasized the importance of maintaining strong grades and good attendance—two key factors considered when reviewing student applications for enrollment.
As they toured the campus, middle school Tigers also saw familiar faces—Pryor High School students currently enrolled in Northeast Tech programs. Watching high school students in action gave the 8th graders a real-world glimpse of what it looks like to train for future careers while still in high school.
The visit gave students a firsthand look at classrooms, workshops, and labs where high school students gain real-world skills in high-demand fields.
