This week, Pryor High School students gathered during Tiger Time for a special assembly hosted by the National Guard. The Empowering Students to Lead Their Own Learning Action Team was proud to bring back the popular SMART Goal Assembly.
The focus of the assembly was putting students in the driver’s seat when it comes to setting life goals. The National Guard presenter walked students through the steps of creating SMART goals — goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-based.
Using real-life examples, she encouraged students to think about their futures beyond high school and how small, intentional steps can lead to big accomplishments. She reminded students that goal setting isn’t just about reaching a destination, but about making wise choices along the way.
This assembly is part of Pryor High School’s ongoing effort to equip students with skills that help them succeed in school and in life.
