players take the field

It was more than a football game. It was community. It was family. It was friends from every generation coming together to celebrate hometown spirit in a cutting-edge facility.

Friday night marked the first time the Pryor Tigers took the field at the new Tiger Stadium—a long-awaited moment that blended tradition with progress. The energy in the stands indicated more than excitement for football; it was a shared celebration of all the ways this community continues to rally behind its youth.

The Tigers delivered a powerful performance, defeating Sallisaw, 45–22. It was an exciting win to kick off the season and a historic victory—the first game played and won on the new field.

Tiger Stadium opened its gates as more than just a venue for athletics. It quickly became a gathering place, where the roar of the crowd echoes the pride of our entire town.
