The Pryor Board of Education welcomed a new member at its regular meeting on June 2, 2025. Superintendent Dr. Lisa Muller officially swore in Chris Van Natta, who will serve the remainder of the term for Board Seat One. Following the oath of office, Van Natta took his seat at the board table and participated in his first meeting as an official member.
Van Natta’s first meeting included a report by fellow board member Jeanette Anderson, who described the Pryor Middle School 8th graders' recent trip to Washington, D.C.. Anderson, who accompanied the students as a sponsor, detailed the valuable learning experiences the trip provided. She highlighted several key moments, noting that visiting George Washington’s Tomb at the Capitol Rotunda and participating in a wreath-laying ceremony gave students a powerful opportunity to connect with the nation’s history in a way they will not soon forget.
