FFA Group

On May 6th and 7th, 24 FFA members traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to attend the 99th annual Oklahoma State FFA Convention at the BOK and Cox Convention Center. During this time, members had the opportunity to meet many new friends across the state, attend leadership and career workshops, listen to guest speakers, serve as delegates, and participate in the courtesy corps, as well as watch numerous sessions that highlighted members' successes.

A few of our very own made their walk across the stage of the BOK.

Jarrett Cowan was accepted into the Ag-Ed Academy hosted this summer at Oklahoma State University and also received a $1,000 scholarship that will be waiting for him at OSU when he pursues a degree in Agricultural Education.

Jace Melugin received $250 for placing 2nd in the State Agricultural Mechanics- Repair and Maintenance Placement Proficiency.

Senior members Alissa Hagar, Adelynn McWhirt, Jace Melugin, Madalyn Spurlock, and Kelcie Wild made their final walk in the blue corduroy to receive the prestigious State FFA Degree.

Pryor FFA was also recognized for their contribution in the Chapter Trust, as well as for contributing over $600 to the Hunger Challenge by collecting a quarter for every stick of Blue and Gold sausage sold this year.

Additionally, Pryor FFA would like to show our appreciation to Councilman Danny Callison for all his many contributions and support to not only Pryor FFA but many chapters across the state! Congratulations on receiving your State FFA Honorary Degree. It is well deserved.
