The Pryor Tiger Girls Tennis Team has qualified for the State Tennis Tournament after placing 4th as a team in the 5A East Regional.
"This is the first time our entire team has qualified for the state tournament, so we are very proud of these young ladies," said Head Girls Coach, Greg Pate.
At Regionals, Abby Martin placed 4th in 1 Singles. In 1 Doubles, Reese Marlett and Izzy Martin also placed 4th. In 2 Singles, Lily Holman placed 3rd and in 2 Doubles Peyton Decker and Norah Joice placed 4th. All these girls qualified for State in Oklahoma City later this week.
"Each of the girls have been putting in extra work to get better, and their hard work has paid off. We are a young team, with only sophomores and freshmen making up our top six. The future is bright and we are excited to see how they do at the state tournament," said Pate.
