Three Seniors Sign to play Football in College

Three Pryor Tiger football players have signed to go play at the next level. Caleb Cantrell, John Whipple and Noah Curtis, who are all coming off of big seasons for the Tigers, will be continuing their academic and football careers next season.

Caleb Cantrell, who was recently recognized as an Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State linebacker, signed to play at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

John Whipple, who was selected to the Class 5A-4 All-District Team, signed to play next season at Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa.

Noah Curtis, who was named an Oklahoma Coaches Association All Star by Class and Class 5a-4 All-District Defensive End for the Tigers, will be headed to Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa.

"I'm so proud of all three of these young men," said Head Coach Kenny Davis. "They all brought something different to the team. Whipple was a great leader, Cantrell was such a physical presence, and Curtis brought another level of athleticism to our defensive line."

These three helped lead the Tigers to an 8-4 season and a Quarterfinal Playoff berth.

"They were all great players and even better teammates," added Davis. "We will miss having them on the sideline but I'm excited for what their futures hold."
