5 student lifesmart team

This group is on its way to national competition! We are excited to share the news that the Pryor High School FCCLA Knowledge Bowl Team has successfully secured a spot to compete nationally against 40 other teams from across the United States.

The team members include:

  • Ryleigh Hill (Senior, Captain)

  • Carson Pendley (Senior)

  • Emma Ragsdale (Senior)

  • Nicholas Rowland (Senior)

  • Carly Thomas (Junior)

These exceptional students have been invited to represent Pryor High School at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference, which will be held in Orlando, FL, in July 2025.

This is the first time Pryor High students have competed in this event. Our team has combined their LifeSmarts knowledge with their FCCLA expertise to achieve remarkable success.

The FCCLA/LifeSmarts Knowledge Bowl is an engaging, team-based competition that challenges students to demonstrate their expertise and problem-solving abilities in six key content areas:

  • Personal Finance

  • Consumer Rights & Responsibilities (including Family, Career & Community Studies)

  • Technology (including Fashion & Housing Design)

  • Health & Safety (including Food Sciences & Nutrition and Early Childhood & Human Development)

  • Environment (including Hospitality, Tourism & Recreation)

  • FCCLA Knowledge
