Personal Electronic Device Policy

During the 2024-2025 academic year, Pryor Middle School will implement a personal electronic device-free classroom policy. Personal electronic devices include cell phones and smartwatches. As in previous years, learners will be able to access their cellular devices during breakfast and lunch. Learners will not be permitted to use their cellular devices in the hallways, bathrooms, or locker rooms. Additionally, learners are not permitted to use social media platforms, take pictures, or record videos during the school day or at school-sanctioned events.

This policy also includes the use of earbuds or headphones unless instructed by the classroom teacher to be used with their school-issued chromebook. 

Pryor Middle School teachers will send information regarding their classroom policy, including potential consequences.
